Political profilation stickers —
A touchdesigner project depicting political banter and profiling in the Flemish parliament. Scrolling through four years, every speech is abstracted to a single form and added to the "conversation". Each form is built from a few metrics. "Spikiness" is dedicated to the underlying (AI annotated) emotion,duration converts to amount of "spikes", and length of the spike to the intensity of the emotion.
These stickers are placed based on the political alignment of the initial speaker (for a meeting subject). Other stickers in the same meeting are placed to obscure the initial argument
As these stickers grow in numbers, the sense of inability to follow, and the overwhelming amount of information draws the viewer into the conversation, enticing them to investigate, but conveying the impossibility of investigating all of the information.
Midway through the process, a meeting was converted to physical stickers, and stacked on a cardboard base, in order to create a physical artifact of the meeting
